Notice of Proposed Rule Making Due: 8/1/11

Final Rule Due: 08/01/13

Description: Requires FAA Administrator to convene an Aviation Rulemaking Committee to make recommendations focused on the areas of mentoring, professional development, and leadership, and then conduct a rulemaking based on these findings.

Status: The FAA has established a Mentoring, Leadership, and Professional Development Aviation Rulemaking Committee (ARC) to address this item.  The FAA and ARC are working on this item however as of August 1, 2011, the FAA has not yet issued an NPRM.  We are therefore concerned that this item has fallen behind schedule.
