3407 Families to Speak After Key Aviation Safety Vote
The House of Representatives will be voting on the Airline Safety and Pilot Training Improvement Act on Wednesday, October 14th. Members of the 'Families of Continental Flight 3407' will be present at the Capitol for the vote on this crucial safety bill.
The ‘Families of Continental Flight 3407’ support the majority of the provisions of this bill, but do have reservations about language introduced at the eleventh hour that potentially weakens the requirement that all commercial airline pilots have an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) license, which requires 1500 flight hours. The group will be making a statement and available for questions following the vote at 4:30pm, House Triangle, Capitol Building.
